Debi Sawchuk

Debi’s battle with fibromyalgia more than a decade ago led her to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and it’s strong healing efficacy when all else failed. Once recovered, she pursued acupuncture as her specialty and has been practicing at Yoga For Today for seven years. Debi is a registered acupuncturist, a clinical instructor of acupuncture and a teacher of TCM Nutrition and Lifestyle at Grant MacEwan University. She also serves as a member of the Grant MacEwan Acupuncture Advisory Committee. Debi combines her belief in acupuncture with her interest in complimentary healing practices. Debi is a Reiki Master Instructor and an avid student of Inka Shamanism. Her approach fully appreciates the body, mind, spirit connection and the profound healing capacity provided by the integration of acupuncture and energy work.
