30 Hour Yoga Apprenticeship
January 13 – October 20, 2013
This apprenticeship program begins with the popular session ‘The 14 Yoga Basics’. These foundational exercises are essential poses in hatha yoga, and are important to overall health and wellness. This intensive program continues with the basic yoga asanas, forward and backward bends, twists and yoga for back and neck problems. You will have the opportunity to advance in your yoga practice and reach your potential in your poses with the guidance, support and wisdom of this masterful teacher. Certificated of completion will be awarded to successful students.
The Vertebral Column: Asana, Anatomy and Therapeutics
with Judith Lasater of San Francisco

Judith Hanson Lasater has taught yoga since 1971. She holds a doctorate in East-West psychology and is a physical therapist. She is president of the California Yoga Teachers Association, and serves on the advisory boards of Yoga Journal and Healing Lifestyles and Spas. Her yoga training includes study with B. K. S. Iyengar in India and the United States. She teaches yoga classes and trains yoga teachers in kinesiology, yoga therapeutics, and the Yoga Sutra in the San Francisco Bay Area. She also gives workshops throughout the United States, and has taught in Australia, Bolivia, Canada, China, England, France, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, and Russia.
Teaching Yoga to Children

Yoga postures and breathing practices adapted to best suit children and their needs. You will be given information on developing age and skill-appropriate class plans and the opportunity to practice teaching a class with the benefits of supervision and feedback.
Gentle & Restorative Teacher Training
with Glenda Sartore
August 19 – 23, 2013
Learn how to teach gentle and restorative yoga. You will learn how to teach yoga in a way that is accessible and supportive for seniors, those experiencing illness, people recovering from injuries and suffering from the symptoms of stress.
This Training Includes: adaptations of yoga postures/practices, chair based yoga, physiology of stress and relaxation, traditional yoga wisdom to support a gentle and restorative practice to rebalance the body and mind.
