Beginner Ashtanga Yoga

A great place to start an ashtanga practice.  Learn the ujjayi breath and postures in a group of newcomers to this practice. Continues with the primary series at a pace accessible to practicing students.

Ashtanga is an energizing, dynamic, fast-paced and challenging practice that results in strength, flexibility and stamina through a continuous flow of postures connected together with the ujjayi breath.  The Ashtanga system of yoga follows the primary series of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, Mysore India.
