Pilates

Pilates works on deep muscles, especially those that surround and support the spine. When these “core” muscles become strong and connected, the body becomes streamlined and toned, overall flexibility, coordination and balance are improved, and back pain and tension are relieved. The basic principles of Pilates conditioning are to create a balanced body through awareness, to improve alignment and breathing, and to increase efficiency of movement. Great for any fitness level and works in compliment to a healthy yoga practice.
