Zumba
The original concept of Zumba combines a dance workout with a party-like atmosphere. ZUMBA builds cardiovascular health by challenging the heart and working the muscles of the hips, legs and arms with dance moves. ZUMBA is a fun workout for all. This class will make you laugh, sweat and have a great time.
Clean, comfortable, indoor shoes are required. Typically, an aerobics shoe or court show is appropriate because those types of shoes provide medial-lareral support. Running shoes generally have too much tread that restrict side-to-side movement. Some cross-training shoes are appropriate, however be aware of the amount of tread/traction of the shoe. Another option is jazz sneakers. They are designed for dance with sneaker support.
