Michael Goshko
Michael began his journey in the health field after a serious car accident in 2003 which put his university studies in microbiology on hold. After two years’ experience of both eastern and western medicine, Michael found that the most therapeutic benefit he received was from acupuncture, massage and yoga. In 2006, while he was finishing his Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, Michael decided to pursue the holistic health field.
He received his Massage Diploma from the Edmonton College of Swedish Relaxation Massage and became a Reiki Level 3 Practitioner in 2006. He obtained his Hatha Yoga Teaching Certificate in 2007 and graduated from the Grant MacEwan University Acupuncture Program in 2013.
Michael’s love of learning and commitment to personal growth, combined with his experience of western and eastern medicine, strongly influences his practice of acupuncture. He embraces the Chinese concepts of balance and harmony. His goal for his clients is to help them find their own mind-body-soul balance.
Michael is married to Lisa and Sherwood Park is home for their family. He is a member of the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAAA) and The Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).
