Anita Parker

Anita begins each day with a glass of water and a self-message of gratitude that wellness promotion is actually her livelihood. Instructing Hatha & Vinyasa-style classes, hosting mountain yoga retreats, as well as inspiring other fitness and yoga leaders with certification courses and workshops are a sampling of her professional endeavors over the past twenty years. Anita completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2007 initially to balance and complement her busy schedule of fitness classes. Yoga restores what regular exercise and life breaks down. Intricate alignment details, functionality, and mindfulness of asanas ignited a passion far beyond yoga being just another item in her toolbox. Anita enjoys the challenge of teaching progressively so that each class is suitable for every body. “The greatest compliment is when participants return to class each week, simply because the previous class met their needs, abilities, and expectations.”
