I love inspiring people to “Believe You Can” and help others understand that if “we don’t try, we don’t know”. I chose fitness instructing as a fun activity to give me purpose and keep me happy and healthy in retirement. At the age of 47 I accidentally found my first fitness passion and became a group fitness instructor. I quickly learned that such a large population of people were lacking in core strength, including myself and something had to be done….Then I discovered Pilates, which quickly became my second passion, strengthened my body, became certified and started inspiring change through body awareness and alignment. Pilates changed not only my core strength, posture and life, but also my husband’s life through breathing, posture and movement awareness. I had to inspire others. I was then introduced to Yoga in 2014, now a third passion, and felt the deep connection between Pilates and Yoga. Now, with knowledge of both practices, I am able to further Explore and deepen the Mind Body Connection. Completing my Yoga teacher training in July 2015 I continued right into the Gentle and Restorative Yoga certification. I love retirement, the ability to continue learning, teaching and inspiring others to “Believe You Can”.
